1. 𝐖𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐳𝐞𝐫 🕵♂: This extension identifies technologies used on websites, such as content management systems, eCommerce platforms, web servers, and more. It’s useful for developers who want to gain insights into the tech stack of different websites.
2. 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐟𝐨𝐱 🌍: Flagfox displays the current website’s server location on a map and shows the current IP address of the website. It provides quick access to information about the server’s country.
3. 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐞𝐜 🔒: Browsec is a free VPN extension. It helps bypass geo-restrictions and access blocked content. You can use it to check if a website is down on your end or has propagated on the internet after changing the DNS.
4. 𝐔𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 🔄: This extension allows you to change your browser’s user agent string to view how websites behave under different browsers or devices. It’s particularly useful for developers testing website compatibility across various platforms and user agents. I usually use it for Wix to ensure my sites look good on different devices. I also use it to check ha-ck-ed websites, as some sites show ha-ck-ed content only when the user agent is Googlebot.

1. Google Apps Script – Extreme automation of SEO tasks, drastically reducing the time needed for most common and tedious deliverables.

5. BigML – Use code-free machine learning to scale & predict all sorts of SEO tasks without knowing any coding language 🐍
6. Google Tag Manager – Fundamental for enhanced tracking (i.e. is a blog page driving an actual sale, or just a session?).
7. Detailed (SEO Minion Replacement) – incredible FREE extension to scrape PAA, FAQ’s, local listings & much more data to get hundreds of content ideas.
8. Keywords Everywhere – Powerful extension to quickly obtain a variety of keyword data. They also provide a cheap API you can leverage to build your own tools if you’re into developing stuff.
9. Builtwith – Extension to immediately assess a website’s CMS, hosting provider & a variety of other things.
10. Quick JavaScript Switcher – I use this extension to quickly disable JS on a page when testing for technical issues.
11. Google Trends – used in combination with keyword seasonality data, can provide additional data points & insights on what content to post and when. G-Trends also comes with an API that can help automate some of the process.
