The journey started from Lahore, moved through Islamabad, and continued toward Swat, the Izmis Meadows, and Izmis Lake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We stayed together, traveled together, met new people, shared stories, played games, and experienced places and situations that were very different from our normal routines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But the most valuable part of the trip wasn&#8217;t simply where we went.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was what the journey taught me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are the 12 biggest lessons I took away from TechTrip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. The Destination Is Always Boring, But the Journey Is Enjoyable<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the biggest lessons I took from the trip was simple:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The destination is always boring. The journey is where the fun happens.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When we left Islamabad, the journey itself became an experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We met people along the way. We stopped on the road. We ate together, listened to music, shared stories, and spent time with people we had just met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By the time we eventually reached our destination, we were exhausted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And the destination itself started feeling less exciting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This made me think about life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We often set an objective and become obsessed with reaching it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It could be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A specific income<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A business goal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A career position<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A number of clients<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A particular lifestyle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A personal milestone<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But once you reach that destination, you immediately start thinking about the next one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That&#8217;s why the destination shouldn&#8217;t be the only thing you enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Set the destination as your objective, but learn to enjoy the journey.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The journey is where the stories happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Always Travel and Keep Moving<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second lesson was about traveling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A lot of freelancers, agency owners, and people who work remotely can spend most of their lives sitting in the same place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We work from the same room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We use the same computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We talk to the same people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And eventually, our world becomes very small.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Travel changes that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you travel, you experience different roads, different environments, different food, different lifestyles, and different ways of doing things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You learn things that you cannot fully learn by sitting at home and watching videos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Travel also teaches you how other people live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You start noticing how people survive, what resources they have, what they don&#8217;t have, and how differently their everyday lives can look compared with yours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And you don&#8217;t necessarily need to travel internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You don&#8217;t need to go to Dubai or Baku to travel. There is plenty to explore within Pakistan itself.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Travel exposes you to experiences that your normal routine cannot provide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. You Can Survive More Than You Think<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the strongest lessons from the trip was about survival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When we arrived, the weather was extremely cold. We were given sleeping bags, but the cold still made the nights difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yet everyone survived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We had limited resources, but people figured out how to use those resources in different ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That made me realize something important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes in life, we convince ourselves:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;I can&#8217;t do this.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;I won&#8217;t survive this.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;This is too difficult.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But the reality can be very different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may be capable of surviving much more than you think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whether the problem is personal or professional, difficult situations can feel impossible while you&#8217;re inside them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But you keep going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You adapt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You use whatever resources you have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And eventually, you realize:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>I survived it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The lesson for me was to use your available resources to their maximum potential instead of assuming that you need everything to be perfect before you can move forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Don&#8217;t Take Everything for Granted<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another major lesson was gratitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In normal life, we have access to things that we barely think about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If it rains, we go inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If it gets cold, we turn on the heater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If it gets hot, we turn on the air conditioner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have cars, internet, comfortable homes, hot water, cold water, food, phones, and countless conveniences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because these things are always available, we stop noticing them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the trip, many of those conveniences weren&#8217;t available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We spent four days without internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We had to work with whatever food and resources were available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And we survived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That experience made me realize how many things we take for granted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes you don&#8217;t appreciate something until you don&#8217;t have it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Be grateful for the small things you already have.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hot water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A comfortable bed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Electricity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A safe place to live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These things can seem ordinary, but they aren&#8217;t guaranteed for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. You Don&#8217;t Need Much to Survive<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The trip also taught me that we don&#8217;t actually need as many things as we think we do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In everyday life, we constantly tell ourselves:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I need this.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I need that.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I need a better phone.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I need more money.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I need more things.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But during the trip, we had very little compared with our normal routine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And we still enjoyed ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We still survived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We still connected with people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We still had fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That made me question how much we actually need to be happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You don&#8217;t need much to survive, and you don&#8217;t need much to be happy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes the problem isn&#8217;t that we have too little.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s that we&#8217;ve become too dependent on having more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. The World Will Continue Without You<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This was probably one of the most emotional lessons from the trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes we think the world depends on us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We think:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>My family can&#8217;t function without me.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>My business can&#8217;t run without me.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>My job can&#8217;t survive without me.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>My friends need me.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Everything will stop if I disappear for a few days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But then I spent four days away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There was no internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I didn&#8217;t respond to messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I even switched my phone off and didn&#8217;t charge it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And when I came back?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The world was fine.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nothing had stopped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My personal life continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My professional life continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other people&#8217;s lives continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course, this isn&#8217;t about saying that you don&#8217;t matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s about recognizing that <strong>you don&#8217;t have to carry the entire world on your shoulders.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes you need to step away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And when you do, you realize that things can continue without you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That realization can be surprisingly freeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. We All Need a Digital Detox<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The trip also became an unexpected digital detox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m speaking about myself here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I can spend four to six hours scrolling or consuming something on a screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But during those four days, we weren&#8217;t constantly looking at screens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead, we experienced the real world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We saw the sunrise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We saw the moon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We felt the cold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We experienced the wind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We spent time in nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We talked to people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We enjoyed the company around us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And there was no constant stream of notifications demanding our attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It reminded me that <strong>digital detox isn&#8217;t simply about deleting social media.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes it means stepping away from the screen long enough to notice what is happening around you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After returning, I made a personal commitment to reduce my screen time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I don&#8217;t think everyone needs to completely abandon technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But I do think most of us can benefit from spending less time staring at screens and more time experiencing the world around us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8. Go Beyond Networking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Networking is often treated as a business activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You attend an event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You meet someone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You ask what they do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You explain what you do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then you think:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Maybe we&#8217;ll work together someday.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TechTrip showed me another side of networking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I met people without expecting anything from them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We talked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We joked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We played games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We ate together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We shared personal stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And we got to know the people behind the professional profiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That&#8217;s what I mean by <strong>going beyond networking.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Real connections aren&#8217;t always about asking:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;What can this person do for me?&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes it&#8217;s simply about understanding another human being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everyone has their own challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everyone is fighting something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everyone has a story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And when you hear those stories, your own problems can sometimes start looking very different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9. Get Close to Nature<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another powerful lesson was the importance of being close to nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout the journey, I felt increasingly connected to nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The further we moved away from the noise and routine of everyday life, the more I noticed things that I normally ignore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The quiet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The experience made me reflect and feel closer to God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes we spend so much time surrounded by noise that we forget to slow down and observe what is actually around us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Being in nature gave me space to think, reflect, be grateful, and appreciate creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For me, getting closer to nature also became a way of getting closer to God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10. Take Life One Step at a Time<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hiking gave me another lesson that applies directly to life and work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At certain points during the hike, it felt like we wouldn&#8217;t make it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of thinking about the entire journey, we broke it down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Just get to the next point.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then the next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then the next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eventually, we got much closer to our destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Life often works the same way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We look at a huge goal and think:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;How am I ever going to achieve this?&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That question can make the goal feel impossible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead, break it down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Take one step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You don&#8217;t need to jump straight to the destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You need to keep moving toward it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And sometimes you need to slow down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the hike, people slipped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People got tired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People stopped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But they didn&#8217;t stay there forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They took a break, recovered, and continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That&#8217;s an important lesson for both professional and personal life:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Taking a break isn&#8217;t the same as giving up.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">11. You Are Not Always Alone<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the hike, I realized something else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes you think you&#8217;re completely alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But there can be people around you who are quietly helping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the hike, there were people ahead of us and behind us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When someone stopped, others would ask:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Do you need help?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Do you need water?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Do you need anything?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That made me think about life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes we believe we&#8217;re fighting everything alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But there may be people who are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Supporting you<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Praying for you<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wishing the best for you<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Helping you quietly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Talking positively about you to someone else<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may not always see those people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That doesn&#8217;t mean they aren&#8217;t there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes you just need to recognize the support system around you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">12. Change Starts With You<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The final lesson was about change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We often say we want our country to improve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We want society to change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We want our cities to become cleaner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We want people to behave better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We want problems to be solved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But then we continue doing the same things ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We take shortcuts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We throw garbage outside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We don&#8217;t clean up after ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We become aggressive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We use bad language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We complain about the system while contributing to the same problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The lesson is simple:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The change you want to see has to start with you.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Start with yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then your home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then your workplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then your community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nobody is coming to magically change everything for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Positive change starts when individuals change their own behavior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Did I Learn From TechTrip by Connected Pakistan?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If I had to summarize the entire experience, these are the 12 lessons I took away:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The destination is always boring; enjoy the journey.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Travel and keep moving.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>You can survive more than you think.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Don&#8217;t take things for granted.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>You don&#8217;t need much to survive or be happy.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The world will continue without you.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Digital detox is necessary.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Go beyond networking and build real connections.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Get closer to nature.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Take life one step at a time.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>You are not always alone.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The change you want starts with you.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TechTrip wasn&#8217;t valuable simply because of the places we visited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was valuable because of the conversations, people, challenges, discomfort, nature, and moments of reflection along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes you need to leave your normal environment to understand your normal life better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And that was probably the biggest lesson I brought back with me.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are some trips you take for the destination, and there are some trips you take for the lessons.
