How to become productive as Digital Marketer?

So much content, so many updates, and lots of people talking about the same topics in different ways. In this noise of content, How to become Productive as a Digital Marketer? Let’s explore in this blog.

Hi, my name is Imran Nadir. I talk about digital marketing [Read the blog or watch the video here]

Here is how I keep myself productive.

1. Stop Watching Money-Making Videos

  • What is a money-making video?
You must have seen them if you’re learning a specific skill: “Do this, learn this skill, and earn thousands of dollars.”
  • Just stop watching those videos, ad you will be more focused on what you want to learn.

2. Create a Roadmap

  • Decide what tasks you need to do now, next week, next month, in the next six months, and in the next year.
  • I divide my tasks into two categories: long-term goals and short-term goals.
  • Then, I break down short-term objectives into weeks, days, or even hours.

If a task on your to-do list takes less than one or five minutes, do it right now to avoid increasing your workload.

3. Write About Whatever You Learn

  • If you’re a new learner, write about what you’re learning on a daily basis.
  • You can use your website, blog, or LinkedIn newsletter—like I update my LinkedIn newsletter weekly.

4. Follow Subject Matter Experts on LinkedIn, YouTube & Instagram

  • On LinkedIn, experts share the latest information and problem-solving strategies.
  • On YouTube, they teach their methods.
  • On Instagram, you get insights into their personal lives.

Remember, not all information is for you—ignore things that don’t align with your focus.

5. Avoid Unnecessary Distractions

  • You don’t need to know every TikTok or Instagram trend.
  • Avoid watching news channels or political discussions.

Remember, no news is good news.

6. Record Everything You Do

  • Recording helps you make better decisions.
For example, if you’re doing SEO, keep track of what you did yesterday, today, and what needs to be done tomorrow.

This helps you improve your strategies over time.

7. Use Google Sheets for Organization

  • I’ve created templates for social media audits, content calendars, SEO audits, and Google Ads.
  • These templates help me track everything I do.
  • Check out templates in the menu on my web!

8. Create Systems

  • If you’re repeating tasks frequently, create a system to streamline them.
  • I have templates for audits and other tasks, so I don’t start from scratch each time.

9. Use Tools to Automate

  • I’ve listed multiple digital marketing tools on my website imrannadir.com.
  • Check out the tools I use, and see which ones can help you.
